Hey everyone, this guy took a little longer than I thought he would, but he's finished!
I'm quite happy with how the devourers came out. The pink to purple gradient I usually have on my guns didn't quite work out because of the amount of "flesh". To add some more colour and interest to the them, I added some glazes of red and purple.

The shoulder pad got a Mechanicus cog and 1 freehanded on for some interest, and to get the box ticked at tournaments when they ask for freehand, something thats not always easy for Tyranids to get. I also did it to practice my cogs for an idea I have brewing away.
There is a couple of little spots of purple that have made their way onto the yellow through sloppy painting, and they are really hard to delete, but as a gaming miniature I really don't mind.
I hope he leads my army to victory in a weeks time. I'll endevour to have more content this semester, but no promises unfortunately.
Thanks for looking.
Very very nice mate!
ReplyDeleteLooking good, the guns turned out very nice.
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful! Great color scheme man, unusual and very eye-catching. I love it!
ReplyDeleteLots to like here. the flesh color of the shooter is great.. very nasty.
